# Transcription Failed

> Fix the Captions transcription failed error when uploading a video — switch between Wi-Fi and cellular data, then retry the upload on iOS or web.

If you see a "transcription failed" error when uploading a video, the issue is usually related to your network connection.

## Fix

Switch your network connection and try again:

* If you're on **Wi-Fi**, switch to **cellular data**
* If you're on **cellular data**, switch to **Wi-Fi**

Then attempt the upload again.
