# Sign Up and Sign In

> Captions is your space to create, collaborate, and bring your ideas to life. Follow the steps below to get started.

## Sign Up

If you’re new to Captions, you’ll need to create an account.

1. Go to [Captions](https://mirage.app)
2. Click **Get Started**
3. Click **Sign Up**
4. Choose your login method:
   * **Email** – Enter your name and email address
   * **Google**, **Microsoft**, or **Apple** – Sign up instantly with your existing account
5. If you choose **Email**, check your inbox for a verification code and enter it on the Captions screen to complete your sign-up.

## Sign In

1. Go to [Captions](https://mirage.app)
2. Enter your email address, or choose **Sign in with Google**, **Microsoft**, or **Apple**
3. If you choose **Email**, check your inbox for a one-time code and enter it on the screen to sign in.
