**New Onboarding Experience** — A refreshed onboarding flow helps new creators get started faster and pick the right creation path.
**New Home V2** — The Home experience has been updated again, including clearer switching between Actor and Voiceover modes for creation workflows.
**Web Editor Insertions** — The web editor now supports inserting [media overlays](/help/docs/visual/media), [music](/help/docs/audio/music), [sounds](/help/docs/audio/sounds), and [voiceover](/help/docs/audio/voiceover) directly into projects.
**AI Edit Style: Bitmap** — Bitmap is now available in the [AI Edit](/help/docs/project/ai-edit) style picker. Browse the [AI Edit styles guide](/help/guides/advanced/ai-edit-styles) to find the right look.
**Edit Plan Multi-Clip Support** — [AI Edit](/help/docs/project/ai-edit) can now work with multiple clips in the edit plan, giving longer or multi-shot projects a stronger starting point.

**Improved Email Linking** — Phone-number accounts now get clearer prompts and a smoother flow for linking an email address. See [sign-in options](/help/docs/signup-signin).
**New AI Edit Styles: Stack, Lift & Chalk** — Three new [AI Edit](/help/docs/project/ai-edit) styles are available for testing in the style picker.
**Multi-Clip Merge for AI Edit** — [AI Edit](/help/docs/project/ai-edit) now supports merging multiple clips into a single AI-assisted edit.
**Stroke Effects in Pro Editor** — Stroke effects are now available in the editor, making it easier to add emphasis and contrast to visual elements.
**Translate from the Side Menu** — Translation is now easier to access directly from the side menu.
**New AI Edit Styles: Bloom & Prism Pro** — Bloom and Prism Pro are now available on web and rolling out on iOS. Bloom is designed for vertical projects; Prism Pro is designed for horizontal projects.
**AI Creator Loading States** — [AI Creator](/help/docs/project/ai-creator) now shows clearer progress feedback while videos generate.
**Profile Deep Links** — Profile links can now open directly to the right place in the app.
**New Home & Long to Short** — A redesigned Home experience is now live on iOS. Turn long-form videos into short clips with [Long to Short](/help/guides/creators/repurpose-long-recording) workflows directly from the home screen.
**Project Sync (100% Rollout)** — Project sync is now available to all users. Projects on iOS sync to the [web app](/help/docs/app/web) automatically; sync from web back to iOS is rolling out next.

**AI Edit Project Duplication** — Branch off an existing [AI Edit](/help/docs/project/ai-edit) without starting from scratch. Duplicate any edit to try a different approach while keeping the original intact.
**Inline Captions: Progress & Cancel** — When generating captions inline during editing, you can now track progress and cancel in flight.
**Faster 10-Minute Transcription** — Transcription for videos up to 10 minutes is now significantly faster on iOS.
**AI Edit Loading States** — Clearer progress feedback while your [AI Edit](/help/docs/project/ai-edit) generates.
**In-App Team Management** — Admins can now invite members, manage roles, and configure team settings directly inside the app.
**Negative Captions** — Caption text can now be displayed in a negative/inverted style. A new look option in the [captions styles](/help/docs/captions/styles) panel.
**Prism AI Edit Style** — A new style with vivid, high-contrast visuals and dynamic motion. Find it in the [AI Edit](/help/docs/project/ai-edit) style picker alongside the existing lineup.
**Long-to-Short in Edit Plan** — The [edit plan](/help/docs/project/ai-edit) now identifies the strongest segments from long-form footage and surfaces them as ready-to-use short clips.
**Multiclip AI Edit** — [AI Edit](/help/docs/project/ai-edit) can now work across multiple clips in a single session — string together footage from separate recordings and let Captions assemble the full sequence.
**Credits History** — A full transaction log for your [credits](/help/docs/ai-usage) balance is now available. See exactly when credits were used and what they were spent on.
**Real-Time Project Sync** — Projects now sync in real time across devices. Changes made on one device appear immediately on another.
**30-Minute Transcription** — Transcription now supports files up to 30 minutes long, up from the previous limit.
**AI Emoji Improvements** — The AI emoji placement model has been retrained for more natural positioning and timing within [captions](/help/docs/captions/add-captions).
**AI Edit V3** — A fully rebuilt [AI Edit](/help/docs/project/ai-edit) engine is now live for all users. V3 produces sharper cuts, better pacing, and more natural-feeling edits.
**Prompt-to-Video on Web** — Web users can now generate a video from a text prompt using [Prompt to Video](/help/docs/project/mirage-edit). Describe what you want and Captions produces a short-form video using your AI Twin.
**Auto Save** — Projects are now automatically saved as you work. No manual saves required.
**Plan Rename: Starter & Creator** — The Pro and Max plan tiers have been renamed to Starter and Creator. See the updated [plans overview](/help/docs/subscriptions).
**Horizontal AI Edit** — [AI Edit](/help/docs/project/ai-edit) now supports horizontal (16:9) video output — useful for YouTube and desktop-first content.
**10-Minute Captions** — Caption processing now supports videos up to 10 minutes long.
**Music on Voice-Over AI Edit** — When using [AI Edit](/help/docs/project/ai-edit) with a recorded voice-over, background [music](/help/docs/audio/music) is now added automatically as part of the edit.
**New AI Edit Styles** — Five new styles are now available: Byline, Kai, Grit, Rocket, and Sonnet. Each has a distinct look and motion language. Browse the style picker to preview them, or read the [AI Edit styles guide](/help/guides/advanced/ai-edit-styles) to find the right fit.
**AI Ads from URL** — Paste a product URL and Captions generates a short-form ad automatically. Learn more in the [AI Ads](/help/docs/project/ai-ads) docs.
**Deep Links for Notifications** — Push notifications now link directly to the relevant project or comment in the app.
**Teams in the App** — Shared workspaces are now available inside the app. Create a team, invite collaborators, and share access to projects and assets.
**AI Twin from a Photo** — Your [AI Twin](/help/docs/project/ai-twin) can now be created from a single still photo — no video recording required.
**Looks Presets for AI Edit** — [AI Edit](/help/docs/project/ai-edit) now includes curated visual presets ("Looks") that apply color grading, contrast, and tone across the entire edit.
**Co-Editor from Home** — [Co-editor](/help/docs/timeline/co-editor) is now accessible directly from the Home screen.
**AI Edit via Co-Editor** — [AI Edit](/help/docs/project/ai-edit) can be triggered from within Co-editor, so you can apply AI edits after reviewing raw footage with a collaborator.
**Inline Translate, Transcribe & Dub** — Transcription, translation, and [dubbing](/help/docs/captions/dubbing) are now available inline during editing — no need to navigate to a separate workflow.
**New Voice Clone Flow** — The voice cloning setup inside [AI Twin](/help/docs/project/ai-twin) has been redesigned for clarity and speed, with fewer steps and better guidance on recording quality.
**Export with Watermark** — Users on free plans can now [export](/help/docs/settings/export) videos with a Captions watermark, removing the previous export block for non-subscribers.
**Co-Editor** — Real-time collaborative editing is now live. Invite someone to your project and edit together — both editors see each other's changes as they happen. See the [Co-editor docs](/help/docs/timeline/co-editor).
**New Home & Mirage Flow** — A redesigned home screen organizes your projects, drafts, and Mirage generations in one place. The [Mirage Edit](/help/docs/project/mirage-edit) creation flow has been rebuilt to feel faster and more direct.
**Full Unedited Mirage Videos** — [Mirage Edit](/help/docs/project/mirage-edit) now delivers full, unedited video output alongside the AI-edited version — so you can work with raw footage when you want more control.
**Per-Shot Eye Contact & Denoise** — [Eye contact correction](/help/docs/visual/eye-contact) and [background noise removal](/help/docs/audio/denoise) can now be applied to individual shots rather than the entire video.
**SRT Export** — Videos can now be [exported](/help/docs/settings/export) with an SRT subtitle file — useful for platforms that support external caption tracks.
**Sound Splitting** — Audio can now be split into separate tracks (voice, music, background) during editing to adjust levels independently.
**Untrim Clip** — Clips that have been trimmed can be expanded back to their original length directly in the [timeline](/help/docs/timeline/trim).
**Credits System** — A unified [credits](/help/docs/ai-usage) system is now live across AI features — transcription, AI Edit, dubbing, and Twin generation.
**Mirage Edit: Record & Import Voice-Over** — You can now record a [voice-over](/help/docs/audio/voiceover) directly within [Mirage Edit](/help/docs/project/mirage-edit), or import an existing audio file. The video is generated around your voice.
**Shot Timing Control** — Each shot in a Mirage Edit sequence now has adjustable timing. Extend or shorten individual shots using the [shots & transitions](/help/docs/timeline/transitions) controls.
**Voice Clone After Twin Creation** — Immediately after setting up your [AI Twin](/help/docs/project/ai-twin), you're now prompted to create a voice clone — so both are set up in one session.
**Project Sync** — Projects are now preserved across sign-outs and devices. Sign out and back in without losing your work.
**Chroma Key (Green Screen)** — Remove green screen backgrounds directly in the editor. Set your key color and adjust the threshold. Find it in the [background removal](/help/docs/visual/cutout) tools.
**Split Media Tracks** — [Music](/help/docs/audio/music), images, and videos in the timeline can now be managed as separate layers — rearrange, mute, or adjust individual elements independently using [media overlays](/help/docs/visual/media).
**Mirage Edit on Web** — [Mirage Edit](/help/docs/project/mirage-edit) is now available in the web app, alongside a redesigned Home that brings generation and editing into one unified experience.
**Mirage Edit** — The first AI video editor built on top of your [AI Twin](/help/docs/project/ai-twin). Upload footage or record in-app, and Mirage assembles a complete short-form video — cuts, captions, and motion included. See the [Mirage Edit docs](/help/docs/project/mirage-edit).
**Keyframes for Video Overlays** — Overlays and stickers now support keyframe animation. Set position, scale, and opacity at different points in the timeline. Learn how in the [keyframes guide](/help/guides/advanced/keyframes).
**Multi-Language Captions** — Generate [captions](/help/docs/captions/add-captions) in multiple languages simultaneously — source language and translations at the same time.
**Generate Longer Mirage Videos** — Mirage videos can now be up to 8 seconds long, up from the previous limit.
**AI Voiceover: Record Manually** — Record your [voiceover](/help/docs/audio/voiceover) track manually within the app during a Mirage Edit session.
**Split Tracks** — [Music tracks](/help/docs/audio/music), [voiceover tracks](/help/docs/audio/voiceover), and [media overlays](/help/docs/visual/media) can now each be split into separate parts in the timeline, giving you more granular control over timing and placement.
**Gen AI: Images, Videos, Music & Sounds** — Generate AI images, B-roll video, music, sound effects, and voiceovers directly from within the app using integrated AI models.
**Keyboard Shortcuts Panel** — On web, press **⌘/** (Mac) or **Ctrl+/** (Windows) to open the full shortcuts reference.
**Background Removal (Cutout)** — Remove and replace the background of your videos directly in the editor. Learn more about [cutout](/help/docs/visual/cutout).
**Shot Rearranging** — [Reorder shots](/help/docs/timeline/shot-reorder) in your project's timeline by dragging them into a new sequence.
