You write (or generate) a script, choose an AI avatar, and Captions produces a finished talking-head video with the avatar delivering your content. Open AI Creator

In the Captions app, tap AI Creator from the home screen. On Web, select AI Creator from the project options.

Choose your input method

You have three options for your script:Write or paste your script The most direct option. Write your script, paste it in, and move on. Works best when you know exactly what you want to say.Enter a prompt and let AI write it Describe the topic and Captions generates a script for you. Good for getting a first draft quickly. You’ll usually want to edit it before generating.

Write a strong script

For short-form video, structure your script like this:
  1. Hook: start with your strongest line, not a preamble
  2. Content: your main point, explanation, or story
  3. CTA: tell people what to do or think next
Cut anything that doesn’t serve the hook or the point. Less is more.

Choose your avatar

Browse the avatar library and select the one that fits your content and audience. If you’ve created an AI Twin, it will appear in your avatar list. Use it for videos where you want to appear personally.
Match the avatar’s energy to your content. A professional-looking avatar works better for B2B or educational content. More expressive avatars work better for entertainment or casual social content.

Set your language

Choose the language for the generated video. AI Creator supports 29+ languages, so you can generate the same script in multiple languages for international distribution.→ Supported languages

Generate

Tap Generate. The video generates in the background and you’ll be notified when it’s ready. On Scale, generation is faster.

Edit and export

Review the generated video. You can:
  • Edit the script and regenerate if the delivery feels off
  • Add captions, B-roll, music, or sound effects in the editor
  • Use Chat to Edit to make targeted adjustments in natural language
Export at 1080p when you’re happy with the result.

Tips for better AI Creator videos

  • Hook first. The avatar can’t save a weak opening. Lead with your best line.
  • Short scripts outperform long ones. 30–45 seconds converts better than 2 minutes for social video. Split longer content into a series instead.
  • Create your AI Twin. Community avatars work, but your own face builds trust with an existing audience. Set up your AI Twin once and reuse it indefinitely.
  • Test multiple languages. If you’re targeting international markets, generate the same video in 3–4 languages. It takes minutes and dramatically expands your reach.
