Overview

The legacy Captions app lives at desktop.captions.ai. It features a dark interface with a timeline-based editor, and does not use a credits system. It supports a different set of features from the current Captions web app.

Sign In

Go to desktop.captions.ai and sign in using the same method you used to create your account.
Projects are stored locally on the device and browser you used to create them. They are not synced across devices.

Granting Camera & Microphone Permissions

To use features like AI Twin, you’ll need to allow camera and microphone access in your browser. Chrome
  1. Click on the settings icon to the left of desktop.captions.ai in the address bar
  2. Toggle on Camera & Microphone
