Shape on the tool rail opens a menu with four tools:
- Rectangle
- Ellipse
- Star
- Line
Choose one, then draw on the preview. The shape becomes a layer on the timeline.
Select the layer to change fill, stroke, position, scale, rotation, opacity, blend mode, and any mask. Effects and animations on a shape use the same layer settings as other visual layers. See Effects, masks, and appearance and Animations. Last modified on November 5, 2026
