Cookie notice

The Captions marketing website uses cookies and similar technologies to provide the website, remember your choices, measure use, and support advertising. Optional Analytics and Advertising are off until you allow them. Rejecting optional technologies does not prevent you from using the website or watching its videos.

Manage your choices

ConsentPro, provided by Finsweet, supplies our consent banner and preference controls. Use Privacy choices to accept, reject, or choose optional categories separately. You can return to this control at any time to withdraw consent. Withdrawing stops future collection through the affected integrations and removes the optional first-party identifiers we control. It does not delete information a provider already received or cookies on another provider’s domain.

When your browser sends Global Privacy Control, Advertising remains off. Your choice applies to this browser on captions.ai. These marketing website choices do not control the Captions web application, Mirage’s separate domain, other browsers, or our mobile apps. You do not need an account to make a website privacy choice.

What is stored and why

Category What it does
Necessary Remembers privacy preferences, keeps you signed in, protects forms and services from abuse, and delivers requested content and media.
Analytics Measures website use and experiments through Statsig and Mixpanel. Off until you allow Analytics.
Advertising Measures campaigns and conversions through the OpenAI advertising pixel. Off until you allow Advertising.

Microsoft Clarity loads only when both Analytics and Advertising are allowed because its navigation metadata can contain campaign information. Clarity advertising storage remains disabled.

Our legacy Google Tag Manager containers, the Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, X, and Vibe tags they deliver, and Dub attribution are currently disabled while we review their consent and withdrawal controls. Accepting optional categories does not enable those integrations.

ConsentPro uses the first-party fs-consent cookie to store your category choices, decision date, and consent-record identifier. Our websites accept optional permissions for up to 180 days after your decision; after that, optional technologies remain off until you make a new choice. Consent records help us document your preferences and are separate from advertising or analytics profiles. ConsentPro also receives the page origin and path, browser information, coarse region, and a pseudonymous identifier to record your choices. Its privacy policy describes that processing and retention.

The necessary session cookie mirage_gpc records an active Global Privacy Control signal supplied by your browser or extension, including signals sent through request headers. A separate mirage_privacy_opt_out cookie remembers an advertising opt-out, including Global Privacy Control, for 400 days. An explicit Advertising opt-in can replace that opt-out only when Global Privacy Control is not enabled. You can reopen Privacy choices at any time.

Other storage can be session-based or persistent; browser local storage remains until removed. Provider retention varies. See the provider and purpose table and the linked provider policies for more information.

You can remove cookies and site storage in your browser settings. That may sign you out or remove saved preferences. When a privacy choice expires or storage is cleared, optional technologies stay off until you make a new choice.

Mux delivers website videos with playback analytics and tracking cookies disabled. Instagram embeds stay unloaded until you allow both Analytics and Advertising; you can instead follow the ordinary link to Instagram.
